Acclaimed English singer-songwriter Rex Orange County is touring Australia, coming to Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne.
Secret Sounds will be bringing Rex Orange County’s hugely popular blend of hip hop and pop to Australia for his national Who Cares? tour, spanning Australia’s biggest cities.
The tour will kick off in September 2021, the first time Rex Orange County (Alexander James O’Connor) has been to Australia in three years. WHO CARES? is also the name of Rex Orange County’s new album, which is due to be released Friday March 11.

WHO CARES? is Rex’s first studio release since 2019’s Pony, the tour for which was cut short by COVID. The resulting quarantine eventually sent Rex to Amsterdam to record the new album, with Benny Sings, with whom he crafted the 2017 platinum selling breakout single ‘Loving is Easy’.
The album also finds Rex reunited the artist who’s support led to his international breakthrough in 2017, Tyler, The Creator. Tyler contributes a verse to ‘OPEN A WINDOW’, marking the first time the two have collaborated since Tyler’s 2017 album Flower Boy, which saw Rex contribute on two tracks.
Rex Orange County’s 2020 Australian shows were all sold out, though had to be cancelled with ticket holders refunded due to COVID-19. If you want to get in on the new dates, you’re going to have to act quick.
