Through award-winning short films, the audience will be taken to places that have been affected by the global arms trade. In one musically charged film, the effects of violence in Rio’s favelas will be brought to light through the eyes of popular rapper, MC Smith. The aim of the showcase, to remind us of the forces that restrict basic freedoms and tell the stories of inspirational individuals.
