Recital Centre to reopen with Marlon Williams, Ash Grunwald, Cash Savage and more

The Melbourne Recital Centre is set to reopen November 12 with a jam-packed lineup to end 2021.

Melbourne Recital Centre is aiming for a huge summer, promising an expanded digital program in addition to a full schedule of live performances.

The reopening announcements comes after the centre’s Elisabeth Murdoch Hall won ‘Best Large Venue’ at the Music Victoria Industry Awards.

Elisabeth Murdoch Hall and the Primrose Potter Salon were showcased in the Centre’s Live From Melbourne Recital Centre digital streaming series, which are live now and available to watch for free.

The Centre has a bumper lineup to finish 2021, with Duo Eclettico on Wednesday 17 November, Nat Bartsch on Tuesday 23 November, Marlon Williams on Tuesday 14 December, and Ash Grunwald and Josh Teskey on Wednesday 15 December.

From January to March 2022, the centre will host their Season One: Awaken program, which will show over 40 events.

In addition to Andrea Lam, Claire Edwards, and Gregor and Sweet Whirl over the 2022 summer months, the centre will also host Cash Savage and the Last Drinks on Saturday 22 January.
