Raw Brit To Play The Music of Deep Purple at Cup Eve Show

Featuring Mick Pealing (Stars, The Ideals), Bob Spencer (Skyhooks, Angels), John Favaro (The Badloves) and Peter Maslen (Boom Crash Opera) this time around, the group will play Deep Purple’s Machine Head and Bad Company, as well as a set of ’70s Brit rock dance floor favourites.

Deep Purple’s sixth album, Machine Head, features the iconic Smoke on The Water and classics such as Highway Star and Space Truckin. It reached the top of the charts in the United Kingdom and was in the American Billboard 200 for nearly two years after its release.

The second set of the show will be songs Bad Company’s, first self-titled album. Released in 1974 the record reached the top of the US Billboard 200, has gone platinum five times and spent 25 weeks in the UK album charts.
