One of Brunswick's trendiest wine and gourmet food bars, Rascal, is dishing out the goods for Brunswick Music Festival.

Rascal have launched their food, drink and music program for this year’s fest, featuring two Sunday laneway parties, an International Women’s Day Dinner, and a Labour Day Eve party with some of their favourite local DJs.

The drinks and food program – as you’d expect from a venue with 200+ beers, and 300+ old and new world wines – is excellent. They’ll be running a special selection across the entire festival, featuring Co-conspirators beers, Noisy Ritual wines and The Gospel Whiskey cocktails.

Stay up to date with what’s happening in and around Melbourne here.

The venue will also be offering 10% off their bill to all BMF ticket holders and donating all sales from their Rascal Stubby Holders to Brunswick Neighbourhood House (along with their existing ‘Support Local’ t-shirt program).

Inner North Brewery x Rascal Brunswick x The Gospel Whiskey Laneway Parties

  • Where: Inner North Brewing, 10A Russell St, Brunswick

Three of Brunswick’s favourite booze suppliers have teamed up to run two fun Sunday BBQs at the Inner North Brewery Tap room.

From 2 – 7pm on March 7 and 14, Rascal will be offering a rotating hibachi BBQ menu focusing on Japanese style-skewers, including chicken tsukune with fried egg mayo and native spices.

Inner North Brewery are providing the beers and The Gospel Whiskey will be slinging whisky cocktails out of their mobile bar. These outdoor Sunday sessions are perfect for relaxed catch ups with friends amid the whole festival vibe.

Rascal International Women’s Day (IWD) Dinner

  • When: 5pm Tuesday 8 March
  • Where: Rascal Brunswick, 341 Sydney Road, Brunswick

Following on from a successful event in 2021, this year Rascal are also bringing back their International Women’s Day menu, showcasing produce from local female-led businesses.

On Tuesday 8 March, Rascal’s food and drink menus will feature beers from Two Birds Brewing, wine from Avani Wines, Cheese from Harper and Blohm and a special floral arrangement from Piper’s Natives.

A portion of sales from these products will go towards Djirra Vic, a local organization that supports Indigenous female safety and wellbeing. Bookings are recommended for the dinner, however walk-ins are welcome.

Labour Day Eve Party with AC Love and Friends

  • From 5pm Sunday 14 March
  • Rascal Brunswick, 341 Sydney Road, Brunswick

To celebrate the long weekend and the end of BMF, Rascal’s favourite DJs will be doing an extended 6-11pm set. It’s part of the old crowd from the 2010 Toff in Town days – they know how to bring the best dining-friendly music vibe.

They’ll also be pouring Noisy Ritual wines on special all night.
