Rainbow Spirit Festival is making its comeback in 2026 with Gathering Light, a reimagined event in Tallarook.
The festival is shifting to a smaller, more intimate format while maintaining the spirit that has defined the event throughout its history.
Rainbow Spirit Festival 2026 will feature multiple music stages showcasing diverse sounds and styles, alongside immersive art installations, performances and galleries. The event includes family-friendly spaces with dedicated areas like Kidspace and designated camping zones. While the festival won’t be returning to its traditional Lexton home for this iteration, the new Tallarook location provides a scenic backdrop for camping under the stars.

The festival is positioning itself as a renewal rather than simply a return, focusing on connection and community. Attendees can expect a weekend woven with music, movement and meaning across the various stages and spaces. The intimate gathering is designed to feel energised and connected while delivering an unforgettable experience for festivalgoers.
Due to venue capacity limitations, the festival expects to sell out quickly. Tickets will only be available through a signup register system, with access codes distributed via email to those who register. Payment plans are available for ticket purchases. Registration closes at 7pm on a Wednesday, with codes sent out in the following days.
