Radiohead To Release New Studio Album

Available to download from Saturday February 19!

Radiohead have announced the release of their eighth studio album, The King of Limbs, which will be available to download from as early as Saturday February 19.

The band have already begun taking pre-orders for the new album, and it will be available in two formats – digital download and a "deluxe edition" comprising of 2 clear 10" vinyl records, a CD, a digital download and exclusive artwork in a "newspaper" format. This so called "newspaper" edition will include large sheets of artwork, 625 tiny pieces of artwork as well as a full colour piece of oxo-degradable plastic to help wrap it all together and assist in the album’s biodegradation just incase you decide to bury it and try grow a juicy Radiohead tree.

In fact, it is thought that the title of the album might just be a reference to an oak tree in Savernake Forest in England, which is thought to be over 1000 years old.

It’s been over three years since the band’s previous album, In Rainbows, which won two Grammy awards including Best Alternative Music Album. Radiohead once again team up with their "sixth member", producer Nigel Godrich, who has previously worked with other bigtime talented musicians such as Paul McCartney, Beck, Pavement and U2.

The King of Limbs will be available to purchase from music stores on CD and vinyl from Friday March 25.
