Raave Tapes’ new track homes in the talents of the dance-punk trio and their signature sound. With a pounding beat, ‘Suds’ is a massive single and has a massive meaning behind it, addressing intoxication isn’t an excuse for poor behaviour.

“We want to encourage the listener to call out this conduct, even if the culprit is a close friend,” reports singer and guitarist Joab Eastley. “To put it bluntly – don’t be a dickhead.” This philosophy is conveyed at Raave Tapes’ shows where having fun is the most important value, so long as it’s not at the expense of anyone else.

Raave Tapes have been on the scene since 2016 when they were chosen to play This That Festival by triple j. Releasing singles ‘2 U XOXO’ and ‘k bye’, the band continually impresses crowds with their live shows. In 2017, they smashed out a fifteen-date national headline tour with sold out shows, and performed with Northeast Party House and Hockey Dad plus festival spots at Festival of the Sun, Yours and Owls and Mountain Sounds.

Raave Tapes perform at Groovin the Moo’s Moolin Rouge stage in Maitland on Saturday April 28 alongside Ella Hooper, Mallrat, Vera Blue and many more.
