Queens of the Stone Age will perform a very rare and intimate acoustic gig at Tasmania’s MONA Gallery in the same space that houses ‘Snake’ — a 46-metre rainbow meditation exploring the collision of myth and modernity.
If that’s not one of the best backdrops for a rock ‘n’ roll show, I don’t know what it is.
This intimate acoustic gig will be one of just two shows the band will play in Tasmania this September.
All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Royal Hobart Hospital Children’s Ward, to assist in buying equipment and to support the hospital’s paediatric services team.
