How long have you been gigging and writing?
We have been together for nearly a year but we only started gigging in the last month.
What’s been your favourite gig you’ve played to date?
Umm… the last one.
Which band would you most like to have a battle/showdown with?
I don’t know man; music isn’t a competition for us at all. Wait a minute; I wanna have a showdown with Metallica! If it ain’t a title shot then it’s probably not worth doing. Also there would be no shame in losing to them.
What inspires or has influenced your music the most?
Large breasted women, beer, BBQ’s and good old Australian beach culture. That is what gets me in the mood to crank the metal! I suppose a dash of weed here and there helps a little.
What do you think a band has to do these days to succeed?
Dude, do I look successful to you? That was a bit of a silly question don’t ya think. But seriously, keep the unity, keep it fun. In short, use your head but always follow your heart… and fuck ’em if they can’t take a joke.

Why should everyone come and see your band?
We are the metal band that takes the piss outta everything, even metal itself.
If you wanna be serious and ‘believe’ in something then go to fuckin’ church baby. We are all about mischief, humour and heavy grooves. Our music is food for ya soul man, Southpaw wants you to celebrate your life, you should join in some time soon.
When are you playing live/releasing your album/EP/single/etc?
Our next gig is on November 19 at the Noise Bar in Brunswick with our mates Raging Bull. As for our next recording… We’ll do an EP early next year I reckon.
