And what do you do?
My name is Daniel Rickard and I’m the lead singer, song writer and guitarist.
When did you start doing that?
Writing songs since I was 15 and guitar and singing properly since I was about 16.
Why did you start doing that?
I had this underlying passion that just grew over the years and it became an escape and a way to release emotion and express myself.
Do you think you’re good at doing that?
Haha it depends on the time of day and how I’m feeling, sometimes I love what we do, other times I hate it.
If you weren’t doing that, what would you be doing?
My quest to become the Prime Minister. My second love by far is politics.
What makes you happiest about what you’re doing?
Seeing people tap their foot or nod their head.. to see people really enjoying something you’ve created.
And what makes you unhappiest about what you’re doing?
It at times can be quite hard and its easy to let your confidence fall and your head slip under water.
What’s you proudest moment of doing what you do?
To see another musician or singer enjoy what you do and appreciate it.
And your least proud?
Still got no money! But you have to start somewhere!
