Puta Madre Brothers Return Home

putamadre.jpg

Puta Madre Brothers aren’t your usual three piece band – in fact they’re three one-man-bands playing together. Since 2007 they have been travelling Australia, playing energetic shows despite sitting down the entire time. Lasy year, the group played at Big Day Out and opened the 20th annual Meredith Music Festival while finishing the year off at Falls Festival in Marion Bay.

The Australian trio have just journeyed through Europe playing 36 shows in 40 days, across 6 countries. Now they are heading back home to play at a special show at the Tote on Friday June 10.

… but what makes this show so ‘special’? Puta Madre Brothers will be previewing new material for their forthcoming album Three Men No Mission including a Spanglish disco re-interpretation of songs by Those Darlins and CW Stoneking. There will also be the chance to get your hands on limited number of 7″ copies of Three Men No Mission – there’s only 50 in Australia.
