Punk legends The Damned return to Australia and New Zealand this June

All-time punk aficionados The Damned are arriving in Australia on June 5 to rock the stages with new and old hits.

Often compared to The Clash and Sex Pistols, The Damned have been considered one of the most enduring British punk rock bands ever. The late Lemmy from Motörhead famously described The Damned as “the only real punk band.”’

Beginning their punk-rock journey in 1976, this band has released numerous acclaimed albums such as Damned, Damned, Damned, Machine Gun Etiquette and Phantasmagoria. Songs from these albums will make featured at their show, including new tunes from their upcoming album, Darkedelic, due to be released this Autumn on April 28.

After decades worth of punk rock and gothic influences, The Damned will be back and better than ever to perform Monday, June 5, at The Gov in Adelaide, Wednesday, June 7, at the Princess theatre in Brisbane and Thursday, June 8, at the Metro Theatre in Sydney.

Tickets will be on sale Friday, March 17 at 11 am AEDT at sbmpresents.com. For those wanting to get ahead of the crowd, early access for pre-sale is available from Thursday, March 16, by signing up here.
