Private Function’s ability to swiftly zig-zag between genres is showcased on the album, which features high-octane garage-punk, ’70s-style rock’n’roll, brutal thrash metal, and stadium-rock numbers. The result is an intoxicating and impulsive record that encapsulates the band’s explosive live energy.

For those who haven’t yet experienced Private Function’s rebellious debauchery and wall-to-wall hits, this is an opportunity not to be missed. With a solid reputation as Australia’s most essential live band, Private Function has amassed a feverish following that continues to grow.

And with a string of world firsts under their belt, including a limited edition scratchie record sleeve, an unexpected government exemption, and a urine-filled Gold record variant, it’s clear that Private Function’s irreverent spirit extends beyond their music and onto the world stage.

With their explosive stage presence and eclectic range of influences, it’s sure to be a night you won’t forget.

Catch them at Max Watts on June 2. Grab your tickets by heading here.
