Following on from their previous banger earlier this year, Head Above Water, this local alt-pop outfit show no signs of slowing down yet. The single Pressure is a cruisy venture, featuring a treasure trove of pedals and layered live loops.
The inspiration for the track came when lead vocalist Leisha Jungalwalla felt stretched incredibly thin across a variety of life commitments; something most of us can relate to. Pressure about losing touch with your sense of self, when you’re doing a whole lot of stuff all at once.
Jungalwalla’s breathy vocals add another layer again to this track, showcasing the diverse capabilities This Way North has to offer.
