Prancing Horse Estate are making education fun with their wine-focused Sunday School

Words by Eva Marchingo

If you’re looking for an easy treat, look no further than one of The Real Review 2020 Top Wineries of Australia, Prancing Horse Estate.

Introducing the Sunday School you actually want to go to: Prancing Horse Estate is hosting a series of wine education sessions, every month on a Sunday afternoon.

Classes involve indulging in both local and imported wine from France, as well as bites of delicacies from the region. Where else would you go to learn about organic wine from bio-dynamically grown vines than the estate that pioneered it in the Mornington Peninsula?

You know you’re in good hands because the Sunday School team includes the likes of Prancing Horse owner, long-time local and international wine connoisseur, Tony Hancy; Wine Consultant, Sommelier and owner of The Recreation in Fitzroy, Mark Protheroe; Brand Ambassador and WSET Diploma graduate, Jane Gordon; and Biodynamic Viticulturist Shane Strange. It’s no wonder Prancing Horse Estate has worked with esteemed international winemakers and is home to some of the best Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.

The Sunday School will showcase the Estate’s focus on sustainably produced, high-quality wines that reflect the charm of the region.

Bookings are essential for these intimate sessions, with tickets including all wines and food.
