It’s a Post Hexmas afternoon gig of Intimate Harmonic Noise … free entry
with: Alarms, future tongues, drone state
at the Tote – front bar 28/12 … 3 to 6pm
ALARMS – The post-punk noise-rock darlings from Bendigo. With live shows quickly becoming the stuff of legend, ALARMS bring brutal yet beautiful riffs and a floor-crawling, visceral performance you won’t be able to look away from. Prepare for intensity, chaos, and catharsis.
FUTURE TONGUES – The kraut-rock minimalists from Geetroit. Masters of rhythm and repetition, FUTURE TONGUES create an immersive soundscape with their sparse beats and few, carefully chosen words. Subtle, hypnotic, and compelling.
DRONE STATE – A sonic enigma from parts unknown. This electronic duo weaves their craft through Kaoss Pads, tape loops, and immersive field recordings. DRONE STATE builds a soundscape of hypnotic tension, punctuated by premature bursts of driving repetition and unprovoked audio assaults—equal parts sunshine and cream pies.
This will be an afternoon where the boundaries between noise & rhythm are blurred.
Space in the front bar is limited, so come early the post hexmas won’t disappoint …
