Poetry, Wrestling and Graffiti Come Together in Melbourne Fringe’s Literature Program

The new program celebrates language in all its guises through installations, performances, poetry slams and live art events that revolve around the written or spoken word.

Program highlights include Between Two Lines – a live art event for one person at a time, taking place in the windows of much-loved bookstore Embiggen Books – alongside Wham Bam Thank You Slam, which will see a poetry slam in the style of pro-wrestling.

The Stalls asks punters to reflect on the collective unconscious of a city, as told by the voices found on toilet walls, while Lost the Plot sees some of Melbourne’s most talented creatives including comedians, authors, musicians and actors tell a wholly improvised story one minute at a time.
