In lieu of their acclaimed multi-day camping festival in the Victorian bush, Untitled Group have announced a single-day Pitch Black event to go down in Melbourne this March.
Pitch Black will recreate the festival’s monolithic multi-level rave cave in an open-air location in inner Melbourne, with the team planning to expand the stage into a huge ‘scaffolding colosseum’ centred around a massive Function-One surround sound system.
To soundtrack the shenanigans, Pitch Black have announced a number of acclaimed Australian electronic acts to perform at the event, including CC: DISCO!, lo-fi house trailblazer DJ Boring, HAAi, Jennifer Loveless and Skin On Skin.
Pitch Black will also feature a set from Sweden’s own dancefloor incinerator DJ Seinfeld, who has agreed to undertake a two-week hotel quarantine prior to the set. What a champion!
Pitch Music & Arts Festival will also be returning to the Grampians for a multi-day bash of mammoth proportions in 2022, but for now, this is definitely the next best thing.
