Psychadelic-pop group Pikelet will be heading on a ‘micro-tour’ this May, playing three shows in three different states.

Psychadelic-pop group Pikelet will be heading on a ‘micro-tour’ this May, playing three shows in three different states.


Pikelet, whos second album Stem was nominated for the 2010 Australian Music Prize, spent last year touring with Dirty Projectors, Devenda Banhart and Broadcast as well as appearing at the Queenscliff Music Festival, Melbourne International Arts Festival and MONA FOMA in Tasmania.

On her own, Pikelet’s frontwoman Evelyn Morris has also joined Clare Bowditch as a bandmate on tour supporting Leonard Cohen.

The short tour allows Pikelet to perform solo shows in Melbourne. Sydney and Perth in the space of one week in May. The band will be appearing at the East Brunswick Club in Melbourne on Friday May 13 before beginning their work on their third album.
