The Prince is the kind of venue that prioritises quality over quantity. So much love is put into every show on the calendar, from the bookers who choose the acts who will take the stage to the team that makes sure the sound, lighting and vibes are just right night after night.

Collins In The Air Tonight

Dust off the shoulder pads and get ready for a full-blown ’80s singalong, because Collins In The Air Tonight is bringing the big Phil Collins and Genesis hits to St Kilda. With live takes on In The Air Tonight, Sussudio, Easy Lover, Don’t Lose My Number, Invisible Touch and Another Day In Paradise, it’s basically a one-night ticket to peak retro-pop glory.
The show is packed with the kind of giant hooks that have been living rent-free in our heads for decades. It’s a chance to belt out the classics with a room full of fellow ’80s tragics. Just don’t forget to bring your best air-drumming technique.

Rockabilly Australia is bringing Texan piano-slinger Lance Lipinsky back to Australia for a dedicated national tour, with Jake & The Cadillacs along for the ride. Known for explosive piano playing, vintage rock ’n’ roll swagger and his album Roll, Lipinsky has done Broadway, the Grand Ole Opry and more than 1,500 performances, so this one should have plenty of old-school boogie in the tank.
His live show is all about high-energy piano, classic rock ’n’ roll and plenty of good-time chaos. Jake & The Cadillacs will add another dose of rockabilly muscle to the bill. If your idea of a Friday night involves dancing like nobody’s watching, this one has your name all over it.
ROSE TATTOO: Final Victorian Show

After more than five decades of blistering blues, boogie and streetwise rock ’n’ roll, Rose Tattoo are calling time on touring, making this their final Victorian show. Angry Anderson will be joined by the band’s current line-up and returning guitarist Rob Riley, with classics including Bad Boy For Love, Rock ’N’ Roll Outlaw, Nice Boys and We Can’t Be Beaten getting one last, very loud airing.
It is a seriously big moment for one of Australia’s most enduring rock bands. The Prince should be shaking once those guitars kick in and the singalongs get underway. If you have ever yelled along to Bad Boy For Love with a beer in hand, this is the farewell you will want to be part of.
Petit Biscuit

French electronic favourite Petit Biscuit is finally heading back to Australia for the first time in seven years, bringing his dreamy mix of electronic, indie and melodic sounds to the Prince. Fan favourites like Sunset Lover, Problems and We Were Young should be right at home on the dancefloor, with Audiopaxx along for the ride.
His sound sits somewhere between late-night headphone bliss and a full dancefloor release. After such a long stretch away, there should be plenty of fans ready to make up for lost time. Get ready for shimmering synths, big beats and a Saturday night that could get pleasantly weird.
