Peninsula Hot Springs is turning down the temperature with a summer-long cooling program

Peninsula Hot Springs has launched a three-month summer program designed to help visitors beat the heat while still getting their geothermal fix.

Running until 31 March 2026, Cool Moments transforms the Mornington Peninsula wellness destination into a sanctuary of shade, mist and chilled tranquillity. The program introduces a brand new Cool Zone featuring temperature-lowered pools, misting activations, shaded lounging areas and seasonal food and drink offerings designed specifically for warmer weather.

At the heart of the summer program is the Cool Moments Trail, a guided journey through the property’s most refreshing experiences. The trail takes in chilled pools, mist-filled pathways, natural shade pockets, hydrating wellness inclusions and seasonal treats, and visitors can explore at their own pace or integrate it into a broader contrast therapy circuit alternating between cool and warm experiences.

A new Gelati Bar at the entrance serves up frappes, iced matcha and local gelati during peak holidays, alongside cold brew, acai bowls, choc-tops, the Bath House Café’s Limoncello Spritz and cold-pressed juices available across the property. Over at the Spa Dreaming Centre, chilled face washers, hydration stations, iced teas and cooling botanical treatments offer an alternative to warm-weather relaxation, while three Amphitheatre pools sit at 20°C alongside misting activations and temperature-controlled benches.

The summer season also brings a new spa treatment to the destination. Summer Salt & Glow is a 75-minute experience combining an invigorating salt glow exfoliation with a soothing back massage, finished with a cooling aloe body moisturiser. The treatment has been crafted specifically for the warmer months and pairs with geothermal bathing for those seeking a full day of wellness.

Peninsula Hot Springs was recently crowned Best Luxury Hot Springs in the World at the World Luxury Spa Awards. Established in 2005, the destination features more than 70 globally inspired bathing and wellness experiences set amid coastal bushland on the Mornington Peninsula, with geothermal waters sourced from 637 metres underground.
