If you were pondering whether to head to this year’s BigSound music conference following the tantalising first lineup announcement, which promised performances from The Chats, Cable Ties and Kwame as well as talks by the likes of Dave Grohl’s mum, then the second lineup instalment is bound to make up your mind.

Paul Kelly headlines the second announcement, set to host a keynote interview covering his career and industry insights for the future of Australian music. Joining him on the program, you can catch another industry-savvy panel hosted by US punk label Fat Wreck Chords‘ founder Erin Kelly-Burkett and Lagwagon’s Joey Cape.

The event, which will be introducing a new format this year, will welcome a huge range of industry experts who will participate in workshops, panels and forums, including triple j’s Dave Ruby Howe, Nick Findlay and Dorothy Markek.

BigSound has also partnered with Support Act, Levi’s and Access EAP to host clinician-run practical workshops on identifying and working through mental health issues in an aim to remove the stigma around mental health issues and seeking professional help.
