Only a day after announcing his final Australian tour of 2011, the UK’s Passenger (Mike Rosenberg to the rest of us) has announced touring partners for the autumn dates.

Melbourne’s own Jackson Mclaren will be following Mr. Rosenberg across the country on all of the shows with Brisbane boys Inland Sea joining them for the east coast shows.

Passenger , who’s still riding high on the success of last year’s acclaimed Flight of the Crow album announced the tour on the back of releasing his new single from the aforementioned album. Flight of the Crow featured collaborations with some famous Aussies like Katie Noonan and Kate Miller Heidke, and the new single Rivers features the vocal talents of singer Lior.

Unlike previous Australian tours Rosenberg will this time be accompanied by a full backing band in Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney, to play songs from the new album.

Passenger is playing at the East Brunswick Club on May 5. Tickets from the venue, but hurry, they’re selling fast.
