Party In the Paddock reveals new lineup addition and arts program

vibestownproduction.png

Hobart local Carl Renshaw and his band will join the likes of Hermitude, Sticky Fingers, The Smith Street Band and Tash Sultana this year, the triple j unearthed wunderkind is set to deliver some serious psych rock jams for his festival debut.

There’s set to be an exclusive late night disco extravaganza tucked away in the depths of the paddock, available only to those spruced up in the best ‘70s wear.

The Alter is the festival’s central speaking platform where you can feel free to engage in some comedy, slam poetry, politics and anything else that takes your fancy. Guests can also expect an adult jumping castle and a skate park to let off some steam.

It also wouldn’t be a true Party In the Paddock without the annual Nudest Dude Competion, where one lucky party-goer is crowned King or Queen Nudest Dude. To make this prestigious title your own, you must upload your most creative recreation of the Party in the Paddock Nudest Dude to the 2017 PITP event page. Whoever gets the most ‘likes’ wins a VIP pass for themselves and a fellow dude/dudess plus the royal treatment, including your own crown and only the best food and bevs.
