The producer’s route into electronic music came through contemporary dance, studying at the Centre Chorégraphique National of Roubaix before transitioning into DJing and production. This foundation in movement informs his technical approach to techno, blending what he describes as mental and physical grooves. Mac Declos won two music competitions at 21, securing early slots at Nördik Impakt and Astropolis festivals. His recent album Nothing Stands Still arrived via Mama Told Ya, following his 2023 debut LP Hard Work Always Pays Off on the same label. Earlier releases include the Endless Cycle EP on XX Lab and collaborative work with artists including Anetha, François X, Kuss and Lacchesi.
The Melbourne event runs across two rooms with an outdoor rooftop area, featuring support from Akeylah, GUHRL, Minicoop, Jack Ahearn, Maxy McKee, Kxmpy, DJ Ripper, Kade Hoey and Jordan Marg.
