Alexandre Dumas’ novel La Dame Aux Camelias (The Lady of the Camelias) has been brought to cinemas as a co-production with L’Opera national de Paris and Francetelevisions.
On par with his usual intricate work, Dumas’ 1848 novel is the story of social conflict, smoothly juxtaposed with a yearning love story.
Told through the use of extraordinary ballet, La Dame Aux Camelias, is exquisitely choreographed by John Neumeier, with music by Frederic Chopin and performed by Orchestre de l’Opera national de Paris.
La Dame Aux Camelias will be run at selected cinemas for a limited number of screenings.
