Through two EP’s and now a single, the three boys of Papa vs Pretty have finally let it be known that United In Isolation is less than a month away, coming out Friday May 27. It’s been quite a journey for the band to get the album the way they wanted it, but with the help of acclaimed producers Paul McKercher (You Am I, Sarah Blasko) and Scott Horscroft (The Presets, Silverchair) they’ve managed to stick to tape the bits they wanted.
This anomalous trio are not happy to just sit around and hope people listen to the album, but they’re crashing in to all the capitals this June and July to convert some audiences to the way of the pretty.
Papa vs Pretty are hitting Melbourne on Saturday June 25 at that old staple of the live act, the Northcote Social Club. Along for the east coast leg of the ride are the Melbourne rockers Redcoats and Emperors for those Western Australian gigs.
