In a highly anticipated collaboration, two of the world’s most celebrated and iconic classical music stars, Plácido Domingo & José Carreras, are set to grace the stages of Australia for an unforgettable series of performances in 2024. The operatic titans, known for their incredible vocal prowess and captivating stage presence, will bring their extraordinary talent to mesmerise audiences across Australia.

The two Spanish tenors, have today announced their Australian tour, ‘The Legends Together Again, Live in Concert’. The tour starts on the 7th March at RAC Arena in Perth, before heading to the Rod Laver Arena, in Melbourne on 10th March, Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane on 13th March, Qudos Bank Arena 16th March, and finishing up their tour at Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide on the 19th March.

World-renowned singer and conductor, tenor and baritone, Plácido Domingo is a multi-faceted artist with unmatched 150 roles in more than 4500 performances, recognized as one of the finest singing actors in the history of opera. Defined Renaissance man by the critics, endowed with honorary titles and prestigious awards, with a life-long humanitarian commitment. Promoter of young talents and founder of Operalia. Worldwide Ambassador of Spanish Culture and Zarzuela. Pioneer of classical-crossover and winner of 12 Grammy’s. Starred in 9 opera movies. His extraordinary career spanning uninterrupted for more than half a century around the world.

Sharing the stage with Domingo is the powerful Spanish operatic tenor, José Carreras, who is considered to have one of the most beautiful tenor voices of all time. His meteoric musical career resulted in early debuts at the world’s most prestigious opera theatres and festivals, accumulating a repertoire of over 60 operas, 150 recordings including 50 complete operas, oratories, popular and classical recitals. The numerous national and international distinctions bestowed on him include the Grand Prix du Disque from the Academy of Paris; the Lugi Illica Prize, a Grammy Award, the Sir Lawrence Olivier Award and the Classical Brit Award and many more.
