ONSTAGE: THE SERIES will see both fans and artists, on the iconic Palais Theatre stage together for a limited run of shows backdropped by the expansive, beautiful art deco auditorium.
On Saturday 7 Jan, Hatchie – the moniker for Brisbane songwriter, Harriette Pilbeam will grace the stage, performing songs from her sophomore album Giving The World Away, which was released in April by Secretly Canadian and Ivy League Records. Dipping into moody pop territory in a sonic spread-of-the-wings as she pushes the boundaries of her signature shoegaze meets dream-pop sound, Giving the World Away is an album about self-confidence, about reclamation, about the strange time in young adulthood where you begin to finally be able to see yourself clearly. Incisive and probing, it is the clearest look at Hatchie yet.
