triple j's One Night Stand is back for 2026, and the lineup has landed before anyone knows where the thing is actually happening.
Ninajirachi leads a five-act bill on 5 September, in a town yet to be named.
The full lineup runs Ninajirachi, DMA’S, Genesis Owusu, MAY-A and Beddy Rays, with a triple j Unearthed winner still to be announced. The event is all-ages, and tickets are $15 plus booking fee.

As with every edition, the host town is chosen by public vote. Submissions from regional communities closed on 23 March, and triple j has kept the winning location under wraps until closer to the date.
One Night Stand runs as a one-day, all-ages, drug- and alcohol-free event, with ticket money going to charity. Recent editions have directed proceeds to Support Act and The Push.
Ninajirachi tops the bill off the back of her debut album I Love My Computer, which took multiple ARIAs, the Australian Music Prize and Australian Album of the Year at the J Awards.
Sydney’s DMA’S sit high on the poster with a new self-titled album due 21 August, weeks out from the show. Tommy O’Dell, Matt Mason and Johnny Took have four top-10 ARIA albums to date.
Genesis Owusu brings a heavier live show. The Canberra artist won four ARIAs in 2021, including Album of the Year for Smiling with No Teeth, and released his third album in 2026.
MAY-A landed the top spot on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2022, featuring on Flume’s Say Nothing, and put out her debut album Goodbye (If You Call That Gone) in February.
Beddy Rays round out the named acts. The Redland Bay group broke through on 2020 single Sobercoaster, hit number 8 on the ARIA chart with their 2022 debut, and released second album Do What Ya Wanna in 2025.
The final slot goes to a triple j Unearthed winner – the long-running spot that puts an emerging act on stage beside the headliners. That name is still to come.
One Night Stand first ran in 2004 at Natimuk in western Victoria, and has since travelled to towns including Dubbo, Port Pirie, St Helens and Warrnambool. It returned in 2024 after a five-year gap.
Warrnambool hosted the 2024 return, and Busselton in Western Australia took the 2025 edition, headlined by Spacey Jane. The 2026 town will be the next in that line. The festival is built around the regional angle – triple j drops major touring acts into towns that rarely get them, for one night. The 2026 host will be revealed closer to the date.
