Wunderbar! After a 2 years pause, Melbourne’s best Oktoberfest is back in 2022, reuniting lovers of German culture at Australia’s biggest and most authentic annual German celebration. Melbourne will come alive on October 1st with the celebration of all things German. More than 4000 people will descend on the stunning Seaworks Williamstown bringing together stein-raisers from across Melbourne.
With their love of all things Oktoberfest Festival Director Craig Turton and Team are once again ready to deliver an authentic German Oktoberfest celebration. Craig and team promise another jam packed program featuring all your favourite Oompah Bands (which will be Munich to our ears) plus some of the best live music acts in Australia including Sydney’s Furnace & The Fundamentals and 19-Twenty.
“This year’s festival will be bigger and better than ever because everyone needs a ‘pick me up’,” said Craig. “This year we are kicking off from 12pm (2 hours earlier) giving everyone plenty of time to get into your German best to experience the incredible music, live performances and plentiful food and drinks,” Craig “We’ve given people the choice of entry suited to their budgets with Kids discounts (under 10 Free) plus General admission tickets are currently only $45. It’s the perfect day for all ages with rides and more entertainment than you can poke a pretzel at,” says Craig.
