The Ocean Alley Love Balloon tour kicks off at Catani Gardens, Melbourne on Saturday 24 January, before heading to Brisbane Showgrounds the following week and The Domain, Sydney on Saturday 31 January.

East coast fans are in for a treat, with UK alt-rock heavyweights Nothing But Thieves and American indie favourites Rainbow Kitten Surprise joining the bill, alongside local alt-rocker Ruby Fields, who will appear on all dates.

The band then takes their show west, wrapping up the tour at Freo Esplanade, Fremantle and 3 Oceans Winery, Margaret River in February.

The West coast lineup includes the high-octane Skegss, Ruby Fields and rising Perth act Smol Fish, whose heartfelt indie-pop has quickly won over local audiences.

Fans will get their first taste of Love Balloon live, with the title track already making waves thanks to its disco-tinged guitar riff, shimmering production and infectious bassline, a playful and unexpected evolution in Ocean Alley’s sonic journey.

Set for release on 19 September, Love Balloon is poised to usher in a new era for Ocean Alley, one of Australia’s most influential contemporary bands.

With a stacked lineup and some of the country’s most iconic outdoor venues locked in, these summer dates promise to be unforgettable.
