After rocking stages all around Melbourne for the last year, Nylon Phoenix are launching their first single ‘Magenta’ at Creatures of Habit on July 31st. Magenta is a comedic, chunky and speedy rock and post punk revival track. The song is a reflection on your 20’s, the modern dating scene and slowly feeling yourself become moulded by its toxic culture. The lyrics feature frontman Jet, as he plays many of the different characters that you could run into, both in person and online. Joining them will be Jump the Fence, who originated in Buenos Aires and have made Melbourne their new home. Their melancholic guitars with an electric pulse will get you moving and this is a chance to hear their new single ‘Second Wind’ live. Rounding out the lineup is Humane, an Alt rock band from Melbourne. They’re a bit grungy and a bit bluesy, with punchy riffs, soaring vocals and plenty of atmosphere.
