The SoundCloud-bred rapper-producer xaviersobased heads to Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this June with support from ksuuvi and Backend.
New York rapper-producer xaviersobased has announced his first-ever Australian shows as part of the Riverside Tour.
The emerging artist has amassed a loyal fanbase through SoundCloud and TikTok over the past few years, joining a generation of young rappers rewriting hip-hop’s playbook from the internet up. His sound sits at the intersection of trap, rage and experimental hip-hop, straddling the line between internet-native micro-genres and New York’s deep-rooted rap heritage. With over one million monthly listeners and a sold-out US national tour already under his belt, xaviersobased has well and truly outgrown the underground.
His self-titled debut album Xavier dropped in January, built on the foundation of 10 prior mixtapes including Keep it goin xav and with 2. The record rounds out a prolific 2025 that also saw him release his Once More EP, put out singles including Walk To Me and Double Whammy, and link up with underground contemporaries like Nettspend, Osamason and Che.

The three-date Australian leg extends xaviersobased’s Riverside Tour 2.0, which launched across the US in March. Fellow 1-c collective members ksuuvi and Backend reprise their support roles on all three local dates, carrying over the same lineup from the American run.
Melbourne’s stop at Northcote Theatre falls on 4 June, positioned between a Brisbane opener at The Princess Theatre on 3 June and a Sydney closer at Metro Theatre on 7 June. The Sydney date also serves as a Vivid LIVE performance, connecting the tour to one of Australia’s biggest annual celebrations of music, light and ideas. All three shows mark xaviersobased’s first time performing in the country.
General public tickets went on sale 24 April at 10am local time via Live Nation across all three cities. Full tour and ticketing details are available through the Live Nation Australia website.
