British comedian and political commentator Nish Kumar is bringing his latest stand-up show Nish, Don't Kill My Vibe to Australia in April 2025, fresh from a tumultuous UK election cycle that has provided ample material for his signature brand of incendiary humour.
Kumar, who has cemented his position among both The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph’s 50 Best Comedians of the 21st Century, promises 60 minutes of cutting commentary on climate collapse, income inequality, and his perspective as a British Indian man who didn’t support Rishi Sunak’s prime ministership.
The new show has already garnered critical acclaim in the UK, with The Guardian describing Kumar as “the pre-eminent comic political polemicist of our time” in a four-star review that praised his “dizzyingly skilful, affluent, satisfyingly, imaginatively raging rant.”
Nish Kumar tour dates:
Melbourne Arts Centre Melbourne, Pavilion: April 8-20
Sydney Factory Theatre: April 22
Perth Rechabite Hall: April 27
Brisbane Princess Theatre: April 29

Speaking about the tour, Kumar said: “As the world collapses around us, I look forward to dragging my increasingly decrepit body out on tour and doing the only thing that still makes sense to me.”
Best known for hosting The Mash Report and Late Night Mash, Kumar has become a fixture of British television, appearing on shows including Taskmaster, Live At The Apollo, QI, Have I Got News For You, and Frankie Boyle’s New World Order. He currently hosts Pod Save The UK podcast and has branched into streaming platforms with a Netflix special as part of Comedians of The World.
His television credits extend to travel programming, featuring in Joel & Nish vs The World alongside Joel Dommett for Comedy Central, and Hold The Front Page with Josh Widdicombe for Sky Max. Kumar’s radio career includes creating Spotlight Tonight for BBC Radio 4 and hosting The News Quiz and award-winning Newsjack, which secured a Rose d’Or for Radio Comedy under his tenure.
