Set to compliment the major NGV exhibitions, David Hockney: Current and Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Artists, the after-hours live shows will see seminal ’90s pop band Custard take to the stage alongside Melbourne singer/songwriter Sarah Mary Chadwick, Sydney rockers Dappled Cities, experimental quintet Tangents, ARIA Hall-of-Famers Models, TISM’s Damian Cowell appearing as part of Damian Cowell’s Disco Machine and award-winning alt-country six-piece Cash Savage and the Last Drinks.
The New Year will see performances from Gold Class, I Heart Hiroshima, Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith direct from the US, The Comet is Coming, Olympia, NO ZU, PVT and ARIA Award-winning rock legends Dave Graney ‘n’ the Coral Snakes.
Along with headline acts performing in the Great Hall, NGV Friday Nights includes after-hours entry to major summer exhibitions, DJ’s in the NGV Garden, talks, and access to food and bars.
