Entering its seventh year, the festival will feature youth and local performers as well as opportunities to participate in workshops on everything from breadmaking to ukelele playing. One of this year’s highlights will be Fem Fox, a show celebrating fiesty female singers created for the festival by award-winning theatre director Donna Jackson, local musician Jennifer Lund and festival director Michael Stewart. The jam packed program also includes a classical concert, pilates session, spoken word events and the second Newport Youth Film Festival.
