The initiative will support The Australia Council in providing Aussie artists from a range of different artforms in; delivering new artistic works, undertaking fellowships and creativing additional presentations to Australian audiences over the next five years (Yehar!).
This announcement, which comes as part of the Government’s commitment to invest in a creative Australia will see grants of up to $80,000 available for new work and $50,000 for additional presentations to our Aussie audiences. The funding will also assist The Australia Council in attracting applications from artists with disability barriers, non-English speaking and culturally diverse backgrounds, as well as artists residing in regional and remote areas.
The Australia Council promises to promote these upcoming opportunities through its funded forums, marketing campaigns and online resources – so keep your eyes peeled for any exciting announcements!
