Nerve’s Friday night just got a lot harder with Benjamin and Axlmore

Melbourne's hardest Friday night at Nerve just found two very heavy hitters.

Benjamin and Axlmore headline the next instalment of Nerve’s weekly hard techno and hard bounce night at Brown Alley, with Rectify taking over the rooftop.

Nerve’s Hard Techno and Hard Bounce night returns to Brown Alley this Friday, headlined by Benjamin and Axlmore.

Benjamin heads into the night on the back of a genuinely rapid rise, shifting from bouncy techno into the harder house sound he’s become known for.

A recent collaboration with Kumi, plus early support from Kyle Starkey and Bella Claxton, has helped build serious momentum behind his name, and this Hard Techno and Hard Bounce slot lands right as that momentum is peaking.

Axlmore joins him with a set that refuses to stay in one lane, jumping between hard bounce, hard techno, hard trance and hard dance. It’s an approach that’s carried him from Melbourne’s harder rooms to a HÖR Berlin broadcast, two appearances at Croatia’s Barrakud Festival and a slot at Aura Music & Arts.

Upstairs, Rectify take over the rooftop with a lineup featuring Skyla, Nocky and more, keeping the outdoor space just as busy as the two rooms below.

Brown Alley’s setup makes it an easy pick for a big night out, with a state-of-the-art sound system spread across two rooms and an outdoor rooftop area for when things get a bit much inside. Drink specials keep the night affordable too, with Carlton on offer alongside Alizé and Agwa, vodkas, basics and South Ave’s all night long.

Whether you’re there for Benjamin’s shift into harder house territory, Axlmore’s genre-hopping set, or just to catch Rectify’s rooftop takeover, Friday at Nerve is shaping up to be one of the harder nights on Melbourne’s calendar this week.
