To usher in the new era of Beyond The Valley, global pop icon Nelly Furtado will be performing an Australian exclusive one-off performance at the festival, for her first show in over five years. The Grammy Award winner behind some of the biggest pop songs of the 00’s including ‘Promiscuous’, ‘Say It Right’ ‘Maneater’ and ‘I’m Like A Bird’ has recently made global headlines joining Drake on stage as a surprise guest at his OVO Fest, as well as going viral on TikTok for an edit of Say It Right x Bicep – Glue. The vocal on single ‘Afraid’ has been sampled more recently on Four Tet’s alias project KH on ‘Only Human’.
As its first camping festival in two years, Beyond The Valley have curated a 50/50 gender-balanced lineup more eclectic and diverse than ever before. The Victorian festival, famous for its incredible experience aspects including stage design, art, lifestyle and wellbeing, will spread their music programme across three distinct stages, as well as introducing a new Podcast stage for the first time.
Alongside Furtado, the lineup also features a heavy hip hop presence, with self-proclaimed ‘best rapper in the world’ Denzel Curry taking the stage, alongside Yeat, viral rapper Yung Lean, Jnr Choi, the Australian rapper making waves overseas Tkay Maidza, Aitch, Jesswar, JK47 and many more.
On the live music front will be the likes of BENEE, Shygirl, Budjerah, Confidence Man, Lime Cordiale, San Sisco, Vera Blue, Kee’ahn and many more.

Presented by Australia’s fastest growing youth news platform, The Daily Aus & hosted by Froomes – the stage will feature some of Australia’s biggest podcasts including It’s A Lot With Abbie Chatfield, Happy Hour With Lucy & Nikki, Listenable with Dylan Alcott, Coming Out, Blak, Culture Club, Feeling Sexy With Chantelle Otten, The Handbags and panels with The Daily Aus.
Main stage artists will be performing in the 100,000sqm natural amphitheatre, made for live music experiences. The iconic Dance Tent will also make its return, featuring a 70-metre wide LED wall and renowned Funktion-One soundsystem. Dr Dan’s stage, the much-loved multilevel dancefloor colosseum, will reveal a new reimagined design for the 2022 festival.
Patrons can also step away from the music and go for a swim in the pools at the Beach Club, or uncover Schmall Klüb, a concealed party with spontaneous sets from your favourite DJs only accessible through a concealed secret entrance, via a portaloo door.
With this also comes the news of the introduction of a daily entry ticket, so punters have the option to stay at accommodation in the local areas (Geelong, Inverleigh, Teesdale etc) or go home each night.
