Nea Skoupa play the music of the Hellenic traditions of Asia Minor and of the refugee composers who continued those traditions in Greece.
Piano, banjo and violin all featured in this genre of music (Mikrasiatika) both in Asia Minor and in Greece.
Ragtime Tavern, built around the piano in the centre of the room, lit by candlelight and a chandelier from above puts the piano as feature for our night of Mikrasiatika music.
