My Friend the Chocolate Cake are hitting the road this June

After a successful tour last year, Australian pop noir group My Friend the Chocolate Cake are once again hitting the road with new music from The Revival Meeting as well as loads of old favourites from their extensive back catalogue.

Playing a string of shows throughout June and July this year, the triple ARIA winners will begin the tour in Bendigo before playing venues in Springwood, Canberra, Melbourne, Newcastle and finishing off in Sydney.

The new album The Revival Meeting has been incredibly well received and their exhilarating and enduring pop music has created a music history that shows a multi-dimensional mural of modern Australia.

The classic band are a vivid presence whose live performances are received in an almost faultless fashion and never fail to stun with their seamless fusion of somewhat unorthodox elements and deeply relevant lyrics.

The Winter Revival will kick off at the Capital Theatre in Bendigo on the 15th.
