Going down across June and July.

Milk! Records are taking over the Brunswick Ballroom for a Wednesday residency, bringing a bunch of artists from the adored label’s roster to the venue.

Going down across four Wednesdays throughout June and July, the residency will also see some of Milk’s favourite new Melbourne acts perform, while there will also be special guests, supergroups, secret performances and DJs.

To add to the exhilaration of the residency, the lineup for each week will remain a complete mystery right up until the gig takes place.

If past Milk! residencies are anything to go by, there could be performances from Courtney Barnett, Jen Cloher, Hachiku, Liz Stringer and Jade Imagine. The likes of East Brunswick All Girls Choir, Evelyn Ida Morris, Tiny Ruins, The Finks, Alice Skye, Nat Vazer and Celeste Potter have also appeared at past residencies and could very well take the stage this time around.

In light of Melbourne’s lockdown, the residency will kick off on Wednesday June 16 and continue across the next four weeks until Wednesday July 7. The residency was originally scheduled to span five weeks so there will be a double bill on one of the Wednesdays.

Tickets are $20+bf for a single show, or $90+bf for five shows, and a portion of the ticket sales will be donated to a different charity each week.

Milk! Records’ Brunswick Ballroom residency kicks off on Wednesday June 16. Head to the Brunny Ballroom website for more info.
