You’re invited to soak up after-hours access to the museum for a special partnership between Nocturnal, Melbourne Museums after dark extravaganza, and Midsumma Festival.

Midsumma is bringing shimmery, feel-good nostalgic vibes to the Melbourne Museum’s iconic after-dark series, with a headline performance from Kaiit and a DJ set from Kitty Glitter. A partnership with Midsumma, it’s a queer party that goes down tonight, November 30, from 7 pm.

Midsumma x Nocturnal

  • It features a headline performance from Kaiit and a DJ set from Kitty Glitter
  • Come hang out tonight, February 10. It kicks off from 7 pm

Nocturnal is presented as a part of Always Live, a state-wide celebration of live contemporary music, in collaboration with CADA, Australia’s home of Hip Hop and R&B.

While you’re there, why not grab tickets to Tyama as well. Grounded by First Peoples practices of embodied learning, Tyama is a digital multisensory experience that promises to take visitors on an immersive journey into Victoria’s vibrant nocturnal world, from the night sky, through caves to shallow water and into the deep blue sea.

Tyama is an immersive exhibition experience that transforms the museum’s 1,000m2 Touring Hall space into an interactive nocturnal wonderland through large-scale multimedia projections, objects from Museums Victoria’s collections, soundscapes and visually stunning imagery.

It all goes down tonight, February 10, at the Melbourne Museum. Find out more by heading here.
