The venture is driven by fortyfivedownstairs artistic director Mary Lou Jelbart in association with New Zealand national Maori theatre company Taki Rua Productions and Melbourne Festival. First stunning audiences twenty years ago, the production has become a classic. Under the direction of Nathaniel Lees, the new staging is ready to stun an audience across the Tasman.
