If The Festival Club was on too late for you to get to – ABC2 will screen a nightly compilation shot at the festival only last week. Comedy Up Late airs 9.30pm nightly through to Saturday April 12, and streams on iView.
Podcasts: Also taped at the festival – live podcasts. The boys from The Little Dum Dum Club have released their first live episode featuring guests Kyle Kinane, Lawrence Mooney and Charlie Pickering. Also taped at MICF, another live episode of I Love Green Guide Letters, with guests Peter Helliar, Tom Gleeson and Dave Thornton. Both episodes are available from iTunes.
More kids comedy start weekday runs to celebrate school holidays today. This includes the Comedy Club for Kids, The Flying Bookworm Theatre Company, Monski Mouse, and Mr Snot Bottom. Check out the Comedy Festival website for a full list of family friendly comedy.
Also back today is The (very) Big Laugh Out at the City Square Pitch. See Yo-Yo Guy at 12.30pm, Asher Treleaven at 1.30pm, and Ong-als in Babbling Comedy at 3. Entry for both is free.
Films: Southgate Cinema is celebrating the festival with free film screenings on Tuesday nights. Held at the Southgate Shopping Centre next to The Arts Centre, tonight Tim Minchin in Rock n Roll Nerd screens from 7.30pm.
Late Night: The Festival Club returns tonight with So You Think You Can Magic? hosted by Ronny Chieng. 11.15pm tonight at The Hi-Fi. Also on late night: Gab Rossi, Victoria Healy’s We Heart Comedy, and The Underlads.
