Family Comedy: The (very) Big Laugh Out returns to the City Square Pitch today for some free family friendly comedy. At 4.30pm, see Sharon from Canada, then at 5.30pm Ong-als in Babbling Comedy. Both shows are free.
Have you ever wanted to give stand-up comedy a try? The First Five will run a daily workshop on how to get started in an informal setting. The First Five takes place at the Imperial Hotel from 5pm Thursday through Sunday until Saturday April 12. Tickets from TryBooking.
Workshops: Jeez Louise, the festival’s women in comedy initiative have announced two workshops that will run on Sunday April 6 and Monday April 7. The event will include panel discussions, workshops on joke doctoring, stagecraft, social media, and a faux show hosted by Cal Wilson. Email [email protected] to book.
