Mike is having the day off from hosting MICF Daily today, so filling in for him is the Charmingly Useless guest host Neil Sinclair, whose show is on at 10pm tonight at the Duke. Also on at the Duke – today’s guest Rose Callaghan, whose show is on at 6pm. Tickets for both of these are available from TryBooking.

Plenty of Monday night specials tonight at the festival:

Gold FM host Lehmo starts a short three show, Monday night only run tonight. 7pm at the Town Hall.

Jeff Green moves to the Town Hall for a Monday night special, also at 7pm.

Also at the Town Hall, Greg Fleet demonstrates why he is the Games Master. 7.15pm.

Also at 7.15pm, Jack Druce moves from Trades Hall to the Town Hall with his show, Adventure Peach.

If you’re after a showcase of many festival performers – 100% Nuts and The Shelf provide them from 7.30pm in the city, and Local Laughs will in St Kilda from 8.30pm.

George McEncroe’s lively panel discussion Best Comics Worst Gigs makes its festival return tonight where comics talk about shows that didn’t go so well. 8.15pm at the Town Hall.

Also at 8.15pm, Fiona O’Loughlin previews her upcoming show My Brilliant Career.

Andy MatthewsAdam Knox and Dave Warneke attempt to break world records in World Records Show. 9.30pm at the Town Hall.

And at 9.45pm, Late Night Letters and Numbers makes its festival return to the Town Hall.

Free: Tomorrow afternoon a totally free edition of Darkness and Light will take place at the Tuxedo Cat. Filmed for an upcoming ABC2 special, the stand-up/storytelling combo show will feature guests including Felicity WardSimon KeckCath Styles and more. The show starts at 2pm, tickets at the door.

Reviews: The first reviews of the festival have dropped. In the Herald Sun, four star reviews have gone to Max & IvanPuppet Up!, and Dave Callan. Over at The Age, five stars have been given to Sean Cullen, with four star reviews have been awarded to Monski MouseDenise Scott, and Wil Anderson.
