ONE-OFF: Simmy V 3000: A Fundraiser takes place at the Melbourne Town Hall today. A fundraiser to raise money for Simonette Varrenti who has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 cervical cancer, the event will feature comedy from Lawrence Mooney, Celia Pacquola, Luke McGregor, Judith Lucy, Dave Hughes, The Scared Weird Little Guys, Tom Gleeson, Wil Anderson, Oliver Clark, CJ Fortuna and many more. 5pm today at the Lower Town Hall.
EXHIBITIONS: Two exhibitions are open today – both of them are free as well. That’s Funny, an exhibition on wacky, weird, and sometimes outrageous is open from 9am at Arts Project Australia, and Peter Milne’s exhibition The Oddfellow’s Daughter is open at ACMI from 10am.
